Voting - Nov. 8, 2016 Election Day
Voting for the November 8th Presidential & State Election will be held at the Fire Station, 196 Main Road. The polls will be open from 7 AM to 8 PM.
Early Voting for Presidential Election
The official early voting site in Gill for the Tuesday, November 8, 2016 State and Presidential Election is the Gill Town Hall at 325 Main Road. The site will be open for early voting Monday through Thursday, starting Monday, October 24 and ending Thursday, November 3, 9am to 4pm. On Monday, October 24 and Monday, October 31 there will also be early voting hours from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. These early voting hours are also posted on the bulletin board outside Town Hall. September 8, 2016 Debt Exclusion Vote Results
Here are the results for the Debt Exclusion referendum voted at the September 8, 2016 election.
"Shall the Town of Gill be allowed to exempt from the provisions of proposition two and one-half, so-called, the amounts required to pay for the bond issued in order to purchase a police cruiser and associated equipment for the police department?"
The question was approved by a vote of 115 YES (61.8%) and 71 NO (38.2%). A simple majority was needed.
Voter turnout was 186 out of 1,113 registered voters, 16.7%
