Appointment – Derek Worden as a Part-Time Police Officer through 6/30/22
Loan for Highway Truck (2023 International) – award bid to Easthampton Savings Bank with low bid of 4.25% interest rate & sign paperwork for State House Note
Grants
FFY 2023 Municipal Road Safety Grant Program - $17,450 awarded by Executive Office of Public Safety and Security to the Police Department for purchase of 2 speed display boards; may need town match of up to $1,500 to cover cost increase in the equipment
FY23 Firefighter Safety Equipment Grant Program - $10,500 for purchase of a Hurst R421E2 “e-draulic” ram, batteries, & charging unit (application due 10/21/22)
FFY2022 Emergency Management Performance Grant - $2,700, split among CodeRED annual service contract ($688) and regional project to assist Greenfield with upgrades to drone equipment (up to $2,012) (application deadline is 11/30/22)
Safe Routes to School – application (due 9/23/22) to MassDOT for design services & up to $6,000 for low-cost infrastructure improvements at Gill Elementary School (likely signs & pavement markings)
