1. Approve minutes of June 16 meeting
2. Treasurer’s Report and Business
Budget account: From FY’26: $345.80 encumbered (carried over to FY’27)

3. Old and continuing business; short updates
A. GHC materials in the Water Room: For many years, GHC had stored materials in the water room because we didn’t have space for them. After many years of generosity toward GHC, the Water District had to put in another table, so they moved most of our materials (except boxes of archived documents) into the RMB hall.
Sherry and I moved most of the material out of the hall and into Rooms 2 and 3. Ray P. was there and took some of our “surplus” off our hands. There are some very interesting documents we should display.
B. Contact List for GHC: The membership has changed and a new list is available.
C. The Gill Newsletter copy is due on August 20. Any ideas?
D. Donations: As you already know, Fred Chase has given us some new display cases and a shoemaker’s bench. These are being stored in the second storage room in the RMB basement. His father wrote a History of Gill which would be great for our “library.”
5. New business:
A. A site plan review for a new owner of the Leaf Joy business is being circulated among several town boards including GHC. When Leaf Joy came to town, GHC didn’t have a lot to say about that store, so we may decide to say “no comment.” The date for the public hearing hasn’t been set yet. We have 45 days to respond.
B. New committees: The Roof Committee is very active so far, but the Use Committee (of the RMB) has yet to have its first meeting. All Gill residents may attend these committee meetings and contribute if they are inspired to do so. Watch the website for times and dates. (Bob)
C. New displays for GHC? (discussion: example about Allan Adie and the RMB.)
D. Treasurer’s job: It’s fairly routine. Looking for interested members. (Kit)
E. Gill Harvest Festival ideas and plans (Sept. 27)
