Old Business
- Review of Minutes from 8/25/25, 9/22/25, 10/20/25, 12/1/25, 1/12/26, 3/23/26, 4/6/26, 7/13/26
- Sewer Pump Station improvements
- Application for state’s Community One Stop for Growth grant was filed on June 3rd for $150,000 to cover the engineering costs related to 1) Evaluation & Alternatives Analysis and 2) Final Design. – Decision from state not expected until October.
New Business
- Montague Selectboard voted on 8/10 to increase sewer rate by 3% from $18.50 to $19.06/1,000gal, effective to 7/1/26
- Anything to take into consideration for doing rate analysis & recommendation for Gill?
- Review and approve abatement requests
- Dan Ware, 4 Oak St, $1,269.36 for inaccurate meter reading
- Kole Kovacs, 61 Riverview Drive, $302.17 for metered water to fill swimming pool
- Chris Pelletier, 28A Walnut St, $93.09 for metered water to fill spa/swimming pool
- Jeff Suprenant, 25 Oak St, $17.63 for metered water to fill spa
- Inquiry from a Riverside resident:
- Could a “grey water system” be used to divert non-sewage water from sinks, showers, & laundry?
- Could a second water meter (“deduct meter”) be installed to meter outdoor use and be deducted from sewer billing?
- Possible wording for a change to Sewer Use Regulations to address charging for service calls determined to be fault of property occupants
- Schedule next meeting (Monday, September 21st?)
- Other business as may arise after the agenda has been posted.
