The draft of Gill's Digital Equity Plan is available for review, comment, & feedback
The Town received a grant in 2024 from the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative to develop a Digital Equity Plan that will identify a strategy to ensure all people have the tools and skills they need to access and use digital technologies. Gill has engaged planners from the Franklin Regional Council of Governments (FRCOG) to help us create our Plan.
A workshop was held on October 30, 2024 to gather feedback from residents, municipal officials, community groups, and other stakeholders (“digital equity stakeholders”) on the needs of our residents and the digital equity issues facing the municipality. That feedback has been compiled into a draft of the Gill Digital Equity Plan. The draft may be downloaded by clicking on the following link: /files/2025-0103_DRAFT_Gill_Digital_Equity_Report.pdf
If you have comments and suggestions related to the draft and/or digital equity in Gill, feel free to email those to Ray Purington at administrator@gillmass.org
