Vernal Pool Walk at Blake Town Forest

The Gill Town Forest Committee wishes to invite the community to a Vernal Pool Walk in the Blake Town Forest on Sunday, April 26th, from 2 to 4 pm. For this event we will walk Forest trails, stop and explore pools, and discuss the importance of these ephemeral wetlands to the ecology of our forests. If interested, please meet at the Blake Town Forest parking area/kiosk, 76 Hoe Shop Road, Gill, at 2 pm. Dress for an outdoor walk, and if interested in entering the wetlands, feel free to bring rubber boots or waders. We hope to see you for our inaugural vernal pool walk!
