The Upper Pioneer Valley Veterans' Services District (UPVVSD), of which Gill is a member town, has set up a small pantry with non-perishable food (and occasionally loaves of bread) for veterans and their dependents who may be struggling because of the Covid-19 pandemic. If you are aware of anyone who may need a helping hand, please have them contact the UPVVSD to see if there is some food they might use.
The list of food items changes constantly, but often includes: canned soups, rice-a-roni, canned vegetables, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, cereals, instant potatoes, rice, corn bread mixes, pasta and spaghetti sauces, tuna fish, and peanut butter.
