The Slate Memorial Library will be closed for renovations from October 18th until sometime in mid-December. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we are excited about the work being done.
Thanks in large part to $42,838 of funding from the Green Communities Competitive Grant Program, our Library will receive a new heating system (air source heat pumps, aka "mini splits"), insulation of the attic floor and sloped ceiling, and new LED lighting. As part of this work, the drop ceiling will be removed, and the balcony and high ceiling will be visible again.
