The scholarship of $500.00 is available to a Gill resident who will graduate in June 2019 from an accredited area secondary school and plans to attend college. One scholarship will be given to a member of the senior class who demonstrates scholastic ability, need, character, and participation in extra-curricular and community activities. Any award shall be contingent upon the selected applicant’s acceptance into a post-secondary academic program.
This scholarship is given in memory of Stanley Ambo, Sr., a Gill firefighter who gave his last full measure of devotion in the line of duty.
