On December 1st at 7:00 PM at the Gill Town Hall (325 Main Road), members of the Six Town Regionalization Planning Board (STRPB) will present an update to the Gill community on their work exploring the concept of a six-town regional school district composed of Bernardston, Gill, Leyden, Montague, Northfield, and Warwick. Besides the presentation in Gill, similar events will be held throughout the six towns in person and online via the Zoom platform. These focus group meetings will be an opportunity to gather the perceptions and perspectives of the students, parents, school staff, community members, elected officials, and business partners of the six communities.
In addition to focus groups, an anonymous survey, with a response deadline of December 8, will be available at this site: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/GillMontagueStudy
Feedback from the focus groups and surveys will be incorporated into a report that will guide the STRPB in identifying the best recommendation to serve the needs of our students and communities. Their report is expected by the end of the year.
