The Board of Assessors has contracted with Real Estate Research Consultants, Inc. (RRC), to conduct personal property (business equipment) inspections throughout the Town, beginning July 24, 2023. Personal property accounts are generally for businesses and second homes.
As mandated by the Department of Revenue, the Board of Assessors is required to attempt an inspection of all business accounts to verify the accuracy of our records once every five years. A Real Estate Research Consultants, Inc. staff member will ask to do a complete inspection to verify the accuracy of assessing records. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
