There will be a Special Town Meeting on Monday, December 16th at 7:00 PM at the Town Hall. There are four articles on the meeting’s warrant, available here:2024-1216_STM_Warrant.pdf . Article 1 seeks to transfer $50,000 from the General Stabilization Fund to add to the account for paying for a feasibility study and schematic design for the replacement of the roof at the Gill Elementary School. Articles 2 - 4 deal with the Town's financial accounting of the Opioid Settlement funds it receives, and makes those funds available to be spent on eligible opioid use prevention, treatment, and recovery programming projects.
