Town Census
Please check the mail for census forms from the Town Clerk. These forms are used for updating our Street List and ensuring accurate voter information. Please make corrections and sign before returning. If you did not receive a census form, please call the Town Clerk at 863-8103.
Dog Licenses
The census mailing also gives you the opportunity to license dogs by mail. Please register your pet as soon as you can. The fee is $15 if the dog is spayed or neutered and $20 for all others. All dogs must be licensed by March 31st to avoid a late fee. Late Fee $20.00 per license. Please note the new Animal Control bylaw allows for the following exception:
- Any person (70) seventy years of age or older, upon proof of age, shall be exempt from the annual license fee for one dog, per household, per licensing year.
- The owner of a kennel license, (70) seventy years of age or older, shall be excluded from this exemption.
This does not mean that you do not need to license your dog, just that you will not be charged.
