The Gill Historical Commission hosted pop-up museum on November 12, 2022 at the Gill Town Hall for "Country Prints: A Community Treasure".
Appreciating the work of Gill artist Robert Darr Wert and his Country Prints studio (1948-1970).
About 30 people attended and it featured Pete Mars and other consultants.
Several people brought a few items from their personal collection to share and learn at this community “pop-up museum”.
Questions were answered, stories were told and knowledge was shared about the background and making of these items pieces. It was a Country Prints "Antique Roadshow" right here in Gill!
